Hi there! I have not posted in a LONG time. I've been having babies and living life, very quickly and extremely full I might add! Our life is blessed for sure! Each day brings new adventures, learning, challenges, and opportunities to renew our "pact" with ourselves. I'm hoping to find my way here more often as we approach a new school year. Although in the planning mode, which I am now, we have already made it to May of 2020! HAA I tell ya planning is GREAT, but it definitely makes time seem to go by much faster. I love a good plan. I love actually completing said plan much more! Each year we embark on a new journey as we pick areas we want to study, make some great plans and then JUMP! Maybe I should say SWING! On May 3, 2011 at 4:07am Sophia Lee was born into a pool of water. What an amazing experience! It was the most INTENSE journey I have ever been on and I still can't believe we did it. YES it was a WE thing. My wonderful husband was by my side each moment and endured my very specific desires to bend his thumb backwards to help counter all the pressure I was experiencing. His loving face and eyes and reassuring words gave me the emotional support needed when my body and mind were doing things I had no idea they would do! My midwife, Christy Martin with All About Babies, was stupendous! Her instruction and smiling face were instrumental in helping me through each contraction. Then there was Kelly, the great apprentice. Super gal and wonderful personality, BUT on this day she was the one I thought I might not be friends with as we progressed through labor.
